The CP7 mission is a collaboration between Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems and PolySat. The payload is a particle dampening experiment designed to measure its frequency response in microgravity. This is a technical feasibility demonstration, which may lead to future applications in spacecraft vibration mitigation. Particle dampeners hold the promise of providing superior performance at a reduced cost compared to existing technologies.




The CP9 mission is a collaboration between PolySat and Merritt Island High School, and is sponsored by NASA Launch Services Program (LSP). PolySat is developing a 2U CubeSat, CP9, and Merritt Island high school is developing StangSat, a 1U.  The primary mission objectives of CP9 include recording vibrations and thermal data during launch, while simultaneously receiving and storing wirelessly transmitted data from the StangSat unit.
